"The Bandong Diamond"

Baseball season has been over for a while now, and I miss it! I'm usually bored this time of year, no games, no signings, ect. This year it's been different though, first of all, it's senior year so I have a lot of work to do! Specially since I got behind and now I have to catch up. Bummer, I know. Okay, well I should get to the point now! I have 2 new musical interests! :) Why the smiley face? Well 'cause they make me happy. The first one is Joey Diamond, super talented guy from The Bay Area. Then there's Ryan, Ryan Bandong. Another amazing boy, except he's from the East Coast. What a dynamic duo! Check them out on Youtube, I swear you'll fall in love, or maybe you'll just enjoy their music.

Vargas becomes part of the Brew Crew

Today was the trading dead line and athough I'm glad the Dodgers didn't trade any of their younger players like Ethier, Kershaw, Kemp or Bills, they DID trade Claudio Vargas. I understand that many fans might not even care about him, but I did. I'm not going to lie and say I've followed him throughout all of his career because I haven't, but I really did like him, and was sad to see him traded. On the bright side, I'll be at Dodgers stadium on Wednesday and we will be playing his new team, The Brewers, so I'll get to see him then. I hope he has a great rest of his career and I get to see him pitch often, good luck Claudio!

He's baacckkkk! And I don't really care...

So yesterday was Manny's first home game back from his 50 game suspension, as im sure you already know. Well my little nephew, Oscar, won a Manny-look-alike contest about a week ago at the L.A. Live, so he got 4 field level tickets for yesterday's game and a bunch of other stuff. We got to Dodger Stadium at about 5:25. Then we went to go see where our seats where at. So we were walking around and I saw my friend Lynda, she works at Dodger Stadium for FanPhoto. She said if I wanted to go with her all the way to the front and who's going to say no to that? Ha, ha. My nephew followed me later on. The first player to come out was Hudson, I prefer to call him O-dogg though. My nephew kept yelling and yelling at him. He ran for a while then one of the trainers helped him stretch and my nephew kept yelling until he turned around and said he would sign his ball when he was done. Honestly, I didn't think he was going to sign for us because I've never seen him sign before the games, or I just never payed attention, I guess. So then he was finally walking to us, he signed my nephew's ball, my friend's ball and my opening day stub when he hit for the cycle! As he was signing it I noticed the stub was backwards, ahh, I didn't tell him anything though.

I'm just glad he signed it. I also got Kemp and Loney to sign cards for me and I got a ball signed by Casey Blake. The game itself was not the greatest, we got shut down. One moment I really enjoyed was when Juan Pierre was called on to pinch hit and the crowd gave him a stading ovation. How cool is that. Pierre deserves better than what he is getting, I'm glad Dodgers fans recognized that last night.

Manny also received ovations everytime he was at bat, it got annoying after the second one because I couldn't see the game as I wasn't standing up since I don't support a cheater. I had a lot fun at this game, ill post pictures up when my computer stops hating me, shalom.

All star game

The all star game is finally here. I love watching the allstar game! I would have loved it more if my favorite player, Andre Ethier, would have made it, but congrats to the other Dodgers who did! That would be Orlando Hudson, Chad Billingsley, and Jonathan Broxton. Broxton won't be able to play because of a toe unjury, how unlucky for him. I hope he gets better soon because he will definitely be needed the second half. Matt Kemp was so close to gettting in, but L.A. fans just didn't vote as much as he needed them too. He'll be an allstar sooner or later though, he has that kind of potential. Also, I can't wait to watch the game because I get to see some of my other favorite players like Braun, Pujols and Lincecum. Of course I want the N.L. to win because The Dodgers are going to need homefield advantage when they're in the world series, ha. Do you think this year's game will top last year's? I dont know but I sure hope it's a good one, aloha.

Here we go again....

Okay, so I started this blog a while ago but I completely forgot about it and NEVER, ever updated it. I thought I should give it another shot, so here it goes. So lately i've been up to a whole lot of nothing. Well i've been going to summer school, but I meant anything fun. Thank goodness I received my repot card last Thursday or I would have still been attending school thinking I failed Physics again. Well technically I still have a R.O.P class that I have to be in, but we never do anything productive. So there really isn't a point of going at all, plus, I can just have somebody sign me in and i'll still get credit, ha. Well i'll be going back on Wednesday to take my senior pic but that's about it. I'll have another post soon where i'll give some opinions about stuff and things happening in the sports world, ciao.
